Alan Woodwell joined John and Stacey at Crawford in 1995. He has wide-ranging experience within the building industry over the past 30 years. Beginning with a solid grounding in the residential and commercial market he progressed to large scale commercial, theatre, stadium, arena, exhibition, educational and government projects. Alan has expertise in all aspects of design and documentation from master planning, schematic design, presentation, perspectives, through to documentation, building services co-ordination and final drawings for tender or fast track construction.
Alan has the amazing ability to get things done against all odds.
His main contribution to Crawford Architects has been in the role of concept design, design development and as a documentation team leader. He has a particular skill that enables him to visualise a completed project and to convey this clearly to a client with the use of plans and perspectives. His earlier background in construction documentation also ensures designs are buildable.
Following a directorship with Crawford Partners, Alan is a 2001 founding partner of Crawford Architects.
His hobbies include touring Europe, Xtreme gardening and prank-calling the Kansas City partners just before bedtime.
